Barça Ready for Historic Match at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition two and a half years following their departure for construction to commence.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
Recent Activities
Barça organized a public practice at the Camp Nou in early November. Officials stated approval is being pursued from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
