Loyal fans of Ariana Grande are calling for that a individual who breached a fence and seized the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating clip depicts the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though legal records revealed that he was set to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile features videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over the Star's Safety

Several fans accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said one more response on Instagram.

Several attendees also questioned guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while some demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Numerous of fans had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore venue, including some who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which focuses on the unexpected bond between two distinct sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning movie of last year in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, winning two for best costume and artistic direction.
