The families of teenagers unaccounted for after a devastating inferno at a venue in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an agonising wait for official news and requesting any details about their children publicly.

The fire devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the middle of the night of New Year's Day. Confirmed images show the roof structure catching alight as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have indicated that it could take considerable time to identify the those who perished of the fire, which killed four dozen individuals and injured another 119. Authorities said on the latest update that the majority of the injured have been identified, with the process still underway to identify the final individuals.

In the waiting period, loved ones have been taking to the internet to plead for information about their loved ones who were in attendance that evening.

Appeals for the Missing

The location of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, 16, are not yet determined, according to an heartfelt request from his family.

Junior golfer Emanuele Galeppini, 16, was last heard from around the turn of the new year on December 31st, his father said.

Included in that group is Emanuele Galeppini, a 16-year-old promising athlete, originally from Genoa but now residing in Dubai.

The Italian Golf Federation has said that he is dead, without directly referencing the fire, honoring a "young athlete who represented dedication and authentic values."

His parent, told media that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An representative has clarified that a formal confirmation of his death is not yet.

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is also unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had gone out with a group and found himself at the bar.

"A close friend informed me they escaped after the fire erupted and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his educators said, "I remember his kindness and positive demeanor, alongside great responsibility. Every time offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds both Greek and Swiss citizenship but lives permanently in the country, was also at the bar on New Year's Eve, according to sources.

Her sibling has posted an urgent request online, saying the relatives has had "no updates" regarding the teenager or the three friends she was with, who are also unaccounted for.

Consular authorities from her other nation say they are closely watching the situation.
